Create a new modality that is compact and efficient for accomplishing a full body workout, in a short time, to maximize calorie burn for people with limited time and space.

Upgrade dumbbells with a smart base and connected mobile app to track weight, reps and workout data for users. The updated design to feature a modern, simple and furniture-like aesthetic for both the smart base and stand.

Produce a space-saving barbell set by consolidating 11 separate weighted bars into 2 bars (a straight-bar and a curl-bar). These barbells will have dials that allow for quick weight adjustments in increments of 10 lbs, providing a range of 20-80 lbs. Additionally, an upgrade would increase the maximum weight capacity to 120 lbs.

Design a connected product with a large touchscreen that can coach users through subscription-based workout routines in portrait mode, and easily switch to an entertainment mode in landscape to watch streaming content. It will feature a camera, premium audio, storage for workout gear and a modern, furniture-like design language.

Transform a commercial grade product from Octane Fitness into a smaller, retail version for the Bowflex home line. The product would cater to North American women aged 18-40 years old. The design will feature the Bowflex brand aesthetic and include a new resistance engine created by the in-house Mechanical Engineering team.

This section showcases my sketching style, evolving from concept to refinement. I blend hand sketching with digital tools (Sketchbook, Photoshop, Illustrator, Solidworks) to suit each project’s needs. My work spans quick, expressive sketches to detailed renderings, adapting to the project’s stage.

As Lead Designer, I led product design from concept to detail and managed critical engineering tasks. As Support Designer, I provided component-specific expertise and plastics engineering support, contributing to project success. As Production Designer, I owned the technical processes for product launches, bringing other designers’ visions to market with precision and efficiency.
